Parker's Kitchen will open its first Florida store in late October in Yulee, near Jacksonville, lifting its total store count in the region to 111. The company announced the move as part of a broader Southeast expansion that includes new locations in north Myrtle Beach and Lexington, S.C.

"We're thrilled to accelerate our robust growth plans by opening new stores in exciting new markets and meeting the needs of customers across the Southeast," said founder and Executive Chairman Greg Parker. "We're committed to elevating what customers can expect from a convenience store and to being a great partner in the communities we serve."

The Yulee store sits at 75970 William Burgess Blvd., near the intersection of I-95 and Hwy. 200. Six Florida sites are expected to be under construction in the first quarter of 2027, with more to follow. The company's goal is to open 12 new retail stores in Florida before the end of 2027, including one truck stop.

"Entering Florida represents an important step in Parker's Kitchen's long-term growth strategy," said CEO John Rudolfs. "As we celebrate our 50th anniversary, we're continuing to build on a strong foundation by expanding into markets where we see meaningful opportunities for growth. North Florida is a natural extension of our footprint, and we look forward to introducing Parker's Kitchen to a new group of customers while delivering the quality, service and value that have driven our success for five decades."

The chain plans to open a "record number of stores" in 2027, according to a recent statement.

The recent openings in South Carolina extend the chain's reach in two distinct markets. The north Myrtle Beach store opened in early July and is the first Parker's to serve customers in that city. The company already operates two stores in nearby Little River, S.C., and plans additional stores in the Grand Strand area.

The Lexington, S.C., location opened in early September and marks the company's first retail store in the metro Columbia market. It sits near Lake Murray State Park and serves customers in Lexington and west Columbia. Additional stores are planned in the Columbia market to meet growing customer demand across the region.

All three new stores serve the company's award-winning Parker's Kitchen food, prepared fresh on-site daily, and offer indoor dining plus electronic ordering kiosks. The stores feature signature Lowcountry-inspired architecture, gas-lit lanterns, high-end fixtures, designer lighting and state-of-the-art restrooms.

With Florida construction starting in early 2027 and a record store count targeted for that year, Parker's Kitchen is positioning its food-forward format to compete well beyond its home turf.
